Labels:

The Dymo 550 and Dymo 550 Turbo use Automatic Label Recognition and are only compatible with Dymo manufactured labels. This allows the label printer to recognize and display the label size, type, and the number of labels remaining, using RFID technology. Attempting to use other labels will result in the label printer being non-functional until the correct labels are installed.

For more information on compatible labels with the Dymo 550 and Dymo 550 Turbo, refer to the Dymo LabelWriter Labels page.
