Scanner (X-Series) does not recognise products added since the last inventory count

Problem

When logged into your Retail POS store on the scanner app, product barcodes added since the last inventory count are not being recognized.

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Scanner

Cause

The reason for this is that the new product data is not syncing properly to the scanner app.

Solution

Reinstall the scanner app.
