Objective
For Vend to be able to communicate with your Ingenico Desk 5000/ iCT 220/250 using Elavon Payments services, your terminal needs to be set to 'Semi-Integrated' mode and the terminal ports should have the right configuration.
Steps
Enabling Semi-Integrated Mode on the Desk 5000 payment terminal:
- Select the # key on the terminal pad
- Enter in the Admin name
- Enter in the Admin password
- On the Admin menu, select 8-Misc. Options
- Select 1-Semi-Integrated
- Select 1-Enable Semi-Integ
- Select 2-On
Configuring the communication type:
- Select the # key on the terminal pad
- Enter in the Admin name
- Enter in the Admin password
- On the Admin menu, select 8-Misc. Options
- Select 1-Semi-Integrated
- Select 2-Communication Type
- Select 4-Ethernet
- Enter in 8150 for the port number (hit the yellow key to erase any existing input)
- Select the green key
Enable Semi-Integrated Mode on the iCT220/250 payment terminals:
- On the idle menu, select the [.,#*] key to access the administrator menu
- Type in the admin name and password and hit the [Enter] key (this is provided by Elavon)
- Select [F2] or press [9] to access Misc. Option and hit the [Enter] key
- Select [1] for Semi-Integrated to access the semi-integrated menu
- Select [1] for Enable Semi-Integrated
- Press [F1] to select On to enable
Configuring the communication type:
After enabling the Semi-Integrated application, the setup of the Communication Type is required. The Communication Type determines the communication method used between the terminal and Vend.
- Your terminal should still be on the semi-integrated menu. If not, follow steps 1-6 above.
- Select [2] to access the Communication Type option
- Select [3] for Ethernet
- Enter the terminal port number 1101 to the terminal and select the green key
Additional Information
If semi-integrated is disabled, you will not be able to process payments directly from Vend and only the standalone payment will run.
