Can Shopify sales sync to Retail POS (X-Series) with the online order number prefix or suffix?

Setup

  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS on iPad
  • Shopify Integration

Answer

  • It's not possible for Shopify sales to sync to Retail POS with the online prefix or suffix
  • Only the order sequence number from Shopify will sync to Retail POS as the receipt number
    • The Retail POS register prefix and suffix settings are not applied to sales that sync from Shopify
