Receipt Sequence Number reverts back to previous value after being changed


When you change the receipt sequence number for your register, it reverts back to the old sequence number when you create a new sale rather than using the sequence number that was saved.


  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Vend on iPad 


Old sales data is still stored using the old receipt sequence, so when a new sale is created it uses the old data that's still stored


  1. Go to Setup > Outlets and Registers 
  2. Click Edit register 
  3. Change the receipt sequence 
  4. Go back to the Sell screen
  5. Click Status > Reset Data
