Why are historical sales from WooCommerce showing up in a recent register closure?

Answer

There are a couple of reasons for the historical sales to sync to Vend:

  • The sale was updated on WooCommerce, for example, a note was added/updated
  • The sale status was changed

This issue can be avoided if the historical sales are not updated on WooCommerce and remain as is.

Additional Information

Here's the solution should you wish to remove the sale from the register closure if Xero is connected to your Vend account:

  • Void the sale in Vend
  • Void the register closure in Xero
  • Resend the register closure to Xero
