Inventory on hand not updating immediately


When making sales or other inventory movements, the inventory on hand report is delayed in updating.


  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Chrome


This is caused by out of date information being stored by the browser. 


  1. Click the three dots icon in the top right of the Chrome window
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Search settings
  4. Type in Clear
  5. Click Clear browsing data
  6. Make sure all of the boxes on the left are checked
  7. Click the box to the left of Time range
  8. Select All time
  9. Click Clear data
  10. Navigate back to your inventory on hand report
  11. Click the arrow curving in a circle in the top left to refresh the page
  12. The inventory values being displayed should now be updated
