Moneris payment type does not appear in the hardware menu for Vend on iPad

Setup

  • Vend on iPad
  • Moneris integrated payments

Cause

There may be two causes of this: 

  1. The payment type does not exist
  2. Data needs to be synced 

Solution

The payment type does not exist

  1. Tap to open the side menu
  2. Tap Dashboard
  3. Tap Setup
  4. Tap Payment types
  5. If the Moneris payment type is not there, tap Add Payment Type
  6. Select Moneris from the drop-down menu
  7. Tap I have a merchant account with Moneris
  8. Tap Begin Setup
  9. Enter a name for the payment type
  10. Tap Save 

Data needs to be synced 

  1. Tap to open the side menu
  2. Tap the green online button
  3. Tap Sync all data at the bottom of the pop up menu
  4. If the payment type is still not appearing, log out of your store and then log back in
