A payment type is not appearing on the sell screen

Setup

  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Vend on iPad

Cause

  • Data needs to be synced
  • Vend is in training mode (integrated payment types only)
  • Location is not set (Square only) 

Solution

Data needs to be synced 

  • On iPad
  1. Tap to open the side menu
  2. Tap the green 'online' button 
  3. Tap Sync all data at the bottom of the pop up menu 
  • On Mac or PC
  1. Click Sell
  2. Click Status
  3. Click Reset Data 

Vend is in training mode (integrated payment types only) 

  • You will not be able to use integrated payments while in training mode. Follow these steps to exit training mode. 

Location is not set (Square only)

  1. Click Setup
  2. Click Payment types
  3. Click Square
  4. Select a location from the drop-down 
  5. Click Save
