An account I want to use in my Xero mapping is not appearing in the drop-down

Setup

  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Xero integration

Cause

  • The account is the wrong account type 
  • Accounts need to be reloaded

Solution

The account is the wrong account type

  • The drop-down menus in your Vend/Xero settings will show the account type(s) you can map to in Xero. If the account you want to map to is not the same account type in Xero, it will not appear in this menu.  

Accounts need to be reloaded

  • If you have just added the account to your Xero store, click Sync from Xero in your Vend/Xero settings to sync the account over.
