Can I embed the price of weighted items in the barcode?

Question

Can I create a barcode that will vary according to weight, and scan this weighted price onto the Sell screen? 

Setup

  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Vend on iPad

Answer

No, Vend barcodes cannot change the price of an item on the sell screen. The price of an item can be changed manually one it is added to the sell screen.
