Why do I need to enter in a password when switching with a User Barcode?

Question

I have selected to not require a password when switching users with a barcode, why am I still being asked to enter in a password?

Setup

  •  Vend for Mac or PC

Answer

Users must sign in at least once a day with their password. After they have, the user won't be asked to type in their past word after scanning their user barcode.

Additional Information

When switching to a user with higher privileges, you will need to enter in a password.
