How do I return an exchanged item?


A customer has exchanged an item. They have now brought it back to return it. How do I process this on Vend?


  • Vend for PC or Mac


To perform a return on an item that has been exchanged the best step is to create a manual return.

  1. Go to the Sell Screen
  2. Add the Customer to the sale
  3. Add the product that's being exchanged to the sale
  4. Change the quantity of the Product to a minus value
  5. Click Pay
  6. Select the method of payment that you are returning
