One of the products in this sale/register closure/stock order has an account code that we can't find in Xero

 Setup

  • Vend for Mac or PC
  • Xero Integration

Cause

This error occurs when an account code attached to a product does not exist in Xero or is an invalid account. 

Solution

Account Mappings:

  1. Check Setup > Add ons > Xero for the errored account code.
  2. Change the account code for an existing Xero account code.

Product Account Mappings:

  1. Export Product List Products > Export List.
  2. Filter "account_code" column for the errored account code.
  3. Update the errored account to an existing Xero account code.
