How to process returns on on-account sales


How to return items on an on account sale when they cannot be deleted from the sell screen.


  • Retail POS for Mac or PC
  • Retail POS for iPad


  1. Go to Sell
  2. Click on Sales History
  3. Filter for on-account sale
  4. Click Search
  5. Click Continue Sale arrow
  6. On the sell screen, add the product for return
  7. Enter negative quantity
  8. Pay balance

Additional Information

On account sale items are locked and cannot be deleted on the sell screen to process returns.
