Improved Vend Experience

We've been working on some improvements to Vend's product pages, to learn more about what changes to expect check out some examples below!

Important: Everything works the same as before, we’re just refreshing our look to make your experience even better.

What pages are changing?

The first set of improvements will change the Products Home, Product Types, Brands, Suppliers Home, Tags and Pricebooks Home pages. We will be progessively releasing these improvements over the next few weeks so you may get some page updates before others.

How does it look?

Looking at the improved brand page below, you'll notice a few minor changes to the overall look of the page:

Before:

After:

The "New Brand" button has been relabelled as "Add Brand" and shifted to the right hand side of the page. We've also changed the edit and delete options to icons.

The layout for this page remains identical to the old design but changing the icons and improving the overall look and feel of the page provides a much cleaner and functional experience.

Some of the pages will have a more complex overhaul however, one such example of this is the product home page:

Before:

After:

Below are some of the changes that have been made to the layout of the product page:

Export list:

The Export List button now sits directly above your product list to the right.

Viewing, editing and deactivating products:

In the old design, these actions would be done by clicking on "View", "Edit" or "Deactivate" on the right hand side of the toggle screen.

Now, to deactivate a product, you'll need to click the green toggle on the far right:

To edit a product, click on the pen icon next to the toggle:

To view a product's detail, hover over the product name and click:

Import and add new products:

The "Import" and "Add Product" buttons have been redesigned and shifted to the top right hand side of the page.

Active and inactive filters:

We've also added a quick way to switch between active, inactive or all products without having to use a dropdown. This should allow you to filter your products by active or inactive a lot faster than before.

What else is changing?

We'll be progressively rolling out updates to a range of pages over the next little while so you may notice some pages change before others. We'll be focusing first on product pages followed by other areas of Vend.

Note: While we've changed the the design of these pages to make it easier for you to find what you need, we haven't removed any existing functionality. If you can't find what you're after on the new pages or have any additional questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us here!
